Ben founded Alben Landscapes in 1999 and used his experience in the industry to drive the company’s development from start-up to a national business providing best in class horticultural and landscape maintenance. Ben is passionate about working as part of a friendly management team that really cares about its staff, the quality of its work and renowned customer service.

Operations Director
Simon joined the team in 2002 and has worked his way up to taking responsibility for management and operational performance. He manages the internal structure of the company to ensure an efficient working environment and that deadlines and budgets are met. Sophie leads the way in account management and she prides herself on great customer service and attention to detail. She’s responsible for statutory accounts, credit control and providing timely financial reports, meaning the team can rest assured that every aspect of our finances are in safe hands.
Edd Ashworth
Operations Manager
Edd spends most of his days on the road visiting site teams and liaising with customers. He works with our Landscape and Maintenance Managers to ensure that all projects are running on time and on budget and he has final sign off on all finished works. Continuous management and auditing are key components to our success.

Steph provides vital office support to staff and customers and carries out a wide range of administrative tasks to keep everything running smoothly. She works closely with the management team to ensure that priorities are managed and met and that everyone is up to date with the latest information.

Alex has worked at Alben since 2011 and has a wide range of experience in all aspects of grounds maintenance. He manages teams that deliver services to development contractors, government agencies, educational establishments, fitness clubs, housing associations, health trusts and much more. His year-round planning ensures that clients’ grounds are always looking their best.

Asset Manager
With many years of technical experience Nick is in charge of ensuring our assets and machinery meet all the latest safety and working requirements. He keeps detailed records of all maintenance schedules and runs a rolling programme of checks and repairs so our teams have all the equipment they need to deliver high quality work on time, every time.
