We’re making conscious changes to care for green spaces more sustainably – without compromising on quality.
We manage outdoor spaces for schools, retail parks, commercial sites and housing developments across the North West. As part of our long-term commitment to the environment, we’re investing in new tools, materials and methods that support cleaner, greener grounds maintenance.
This World Environment Day, we’re proud to share some of the sustainable steps we’re already taking across the sites we manage.
Eco-friendly fertiliser & smarter application
We’ve recently introduced seaweed-based fertiliser into our regular maintenance programmes. It’s a natural, nutrient-rich product that improves soil health and encourages strong growth – without the use of harsh chemicals. Combined with our new boom sprayer, we can apply fertiliser with more accuracy, reducing waste and delivering a neater, more consistent result.
Responsible waste management
To reduce green waste going to landfill, we’ve invested in a bio-chomper, a machine that recycles brash into compost. That compost is then used across client sites, helping to improve soil structure and reduce the need for artificial products. It’s a closed-loop system that supports healthy planting and reduces transport emissions too.
Switching to electric
We’re currently phasing out petrol-powered tools and replacing them with electric landscaping equipment. These machines are cleaner, quieter and help us cut emissions while maintaining the high standards our clients expect. It’s a step forward for sustainability and a smarter choice for working in noise-sensitive areas like schools or offices.
Supporting biodiversity
We work closely with customers to create and maintain wildlife-friendly areas, including wildflower planting and dedicated green spaces. These projects support local biodiversity and help build outdoor spaces that offer more than just visual appeal – they provide food, shelter and safe habitats for pollinators and other native species.
Digital job planning
Internally, we’ve reduced paper usage by up to 85% thanks to our digital dashboard system. This allows us to schedule jobs, report on work completed and manage site data without relying on printed documents – streamlining our operations and supporting a more sustainable way of working.
If you’re looking for a commercial grounds team that’s professional, reliable – and environmentally responsible – we’re here to help.
